Visit to HQM by Minister for Economic Affairs M. Dulig

On 12.08.2024, the Saxon Minister of Economic Affairs Mr. M. Dulig-SPD and the local politician Mr. M. Schmidt-SPD visited HQM at the Leipzig site.

They spent 1.5 hours discussing the political and social framework conditions, as well as the development and current challenges of HQM. The Minister was very patient in listening, even if he naturally did not agree with all our views. 

The planned tour of the plant did not take place due to lack of time, but there will be a follow-up meeting at which the transformation concept for climate neutrality in hardening technology will also be presented and discussed.

Overall, the Minister saw HQM as a positive example of economic development and entrepreneurial commitment. He promised us support for our innovation topics.
